A Little Birdie Told Me...

 My mom is a HUGE bird lover, so when I saw this fabric I knew that it was perfect for her. I chose to do a wrap shirt because, duh, wrap shirts are ridiculously flattering on any woman. Also, with such a busy pattern I figured a simple design was my best bet. I sent it to her in the mail and she received it today (and loved it), so when I get a picture of her wearing it I will most definitely share!

Patterned Pantalones

When I saw this fabric in the store I knew I had to have it, and I had a shorts pattern that I had been itching to try. Happy to say that these were an epic win! They are super comfortable and fit nicely, and have a more classic look to them than jean shorts. I love the pockets and the bow belt for a little extra detail. Pretty proud of my first attempt at shorts (as my past with pants hasn't been so bright). I will definitely be rocking these during the hot summer months.
